Who operates the application
Inspired Strokes Sales is operated by Inspired Strokes Publishing. It is a private bookkeeping tool and is not offered as a public service.
Google information the application accesses
With the authorized user’s consent, the application uses the Google Sheets API with read-only permission. It reads the designated Margriet Book Sales Tracker, including:
- sale dates, customer names, and optional customer contact information;
- book quantities, expected totals, and amounts collected;
- payment status and payment method;
- commission amounts, document requirements, and sale notes; and
- the tracker’s configured prices and commission rate.
The application does not request permission to modify Google Sheets and does not write information back to the tracker.
How the information is used
The application uses tracker information only to identify paid sales, validate their totals and commission, show an import preview, prevent duplicate imports, and add user-selected sales to Inspired Strokes Publishing’s local Excel bookkeeping workbook.
Google information is not used for advertising, profiling, or any unrelated purpose. It is not sold or shared with third parties.
Storage and retention
The Google OAuth client information and renewal token are stored in the authorized user’s macOS Keychain. They are not stored in ordinary website files.
Sales selected for import become bookkeeping records in the publisher’s local Excel workbook and its local backups. The application keeps a local import-history record to prevent the same tracker row from being imported twice. Google Sheets data is not uploaded to this website or to a separate Inspired Strokes Publishing server.
Security and limited access
The application is programmed to access one designated spreadsheet and verifies the expected spreadsheet title, tabs, and columns. Access is available only through the Google account that an authorized user connects.
Inspired Strokes Sales uses information received from Google APIs only as described in this policy and in accordance with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Your choices
The authorized user can disconnect Google Sheets from within Inspired Strokes Sales. Access can also be revoked through the Google Account’s third-party connections settings. Revoking access prevents future reads but does not remove bookkeeping records that were previously imported into the local workbook.
